Itinerary: Botswana Paradise

Trip Highlights

Day 1

Meet and greet at Maun international airport with a short brief about the trip and transfer to a lodge or guest house. There is a chance of doing a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta (Optional)

Day 2

After breakfast, we leave for Moremi game reserve on an open safari vehicle. We will arrive in the afternoon and be able to do a game drive or you view the game on the way and arrive in the evening.

Day 3

Morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve exploring the incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and Zebra to the Lechwe antelope, lions, cheetah, and wild dog pack, and not forgetting bird life.

Day 4

After breakfast, we do a morning game drive on the way to Khwai. We will have a bush lunch on the way and arrive in the afternoon.

Day 5

Morning and afternoon game drives and after sunset we do a night drive on our way back to camp. We will be looking at animals active in the night like owls, badgers, genet porcupines, and so on. This is the only area where we will do off-road driving and night safari.

Day 6

In the morning we will leave for Savuti, which is in the Chobe national park and we will arrive in the afternoon with lunch on the way.

Day 7

Morning and afternoon game drives in the area which is known for its predator action. While we are there we will visit the Bushmen paintings and baobab. Elephant sightings at the waterhole are amazing.

Day 8

After breakfast, we leave to explore the Chobe Riverfront. We will arrive in the afternoon.

Day 9

Morning game drives and arrive in Kasane where we will start our boat cruise in the Chobe River. After the boat cruise, we go back to camp.

Day 10

After breakfast, we leave straight for the border for transfer to Zimbabwe/ Victoria Falls. Depending on your departure time the following day, you will visit the falls in the afternoon or in the morning.
